in food industries, all
companies are working hard
to improve the quality and
image of their products, so
as to provide their
customers with highly
palatable, high quality and
safe commodities.
Responsibilities of Quality
Dept.
Receiving of raw materials.
It has to be verified that
they comply with the company
and (SASO) standards,
through physical chemical
and microbial analysis, so
they are very strict in this
matter because it might
affect the quality of
finished good later.
Monitoring acceptability of
products during in process
to reverse or solve any
problem on time.
To verify the quality and
safety of finished goods,
through physical, chemical
and microbiological
analysis.
Monitoring of storage
conditions (temperature /
relative humidity) for raw
material store, finished
goods store, production and
packaging area.
Monitoring of personnel
hygiene for those working in
production and packaging
lines to avoid any cross
contamination.
Monitoring of GMP (Good
Manufacturing Practice) for
machineries and equipment in
production and packaging
lines, walls, floor and
toilets to avoid any
contamination.
Monitoring of pests through
pest control contractors,
and evaluating their service
and efficiency then
reporting to Quality
Manager, this is for clean
environment.
Monitoring of transportation
vehicles (temperature &
hygiene) for dry, chilled
and frozen products, For
safe deliveries to the
customers.
Quality Dept. staff working
very hard coordinating with
concerned department to
establish good system to
solve the customer
complaints properly and
quickly, for customer
satisfaction.

Each of the factories has
its own quality control
laboratory, fully equipped
and staffed, and able to
meet the very stringent
demands of producing high
quality products.
From 2001 up to now, the
company has successfully
passed the certification
audits of three
international quality
certificates:
ISO
9001:2000
HACCP
(Hazard Analysis and
Critical Control Point)
SQF
(Safe Quality Foods)
All these certificates are
subjected to internal
audits, also external audits
by the accredited certifying
body (SGS).
In addition to that, all
these systems also are
subjected to governmental
monitoring by:
General
administration of
environment health (Ministry
of Municipality
and Rural Affairs).
Combating
Commercial Fraud (Ministry
of Commerce and Industry).
Saudi
Arabian Standards
Organization (SASO).
